I've been teaching in the Fremont Public School system for over 20 years. Before I was employed with Fremont, I taught one year in a one room schoolhouse near Elkhorn. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska and later got my Master's degree from Doane College. Teaching is a profession that changes every year, so we constantly take classes to stay current and improve our skills.
My family feels like it is growing smaller as each of my four children go away to college and a life on their own. Nickelaus lives in Omaha, Ashley lives in California, Tanya is taking classes in Lincoln, and Spencer is a senior at Fremont Senior High. My husband and I also have two dogs that tend to create bedlam in the neighborhood.
